The DPurpose Foundation team is an extremely dedicated and hardworking
team that has included themselves in a very noble cause to support and

The experts called in Domain sessions were a class-apart and provided the
different perspective required for understanding the nuances of the startup
ecosystem.
Desika ma’am has been very kind, supportive and I on a personal note (Amey)
have learnt something about leadership from her – she is really quite an adept
leader having amazing on-the-feet thinking and navigating tackling roadblocks,
our insight discussion session brought new ideas with her help.

I personally liked the mentor sessions regarding the startup community and a
few good takeaways include the qualities required in a leader to be able to
begin, build and develop their startups.

• The session on how to start up by Ajay Batra sir, really gave detailed insights on what to keep
in mind in the start up journey and how to make it sustainable. He also emphasized on what
not to do in order to keep the venture running and growing.
• The expert on the waste to wealth session (which was our domain specific session) was very
experienced and gave us a ground reality check on our product and market space. He also
gave critical guidance on how to proceed with our product and also enhanced the clarity in
our thinking.
• The session on building a minimum viable product was my favourite. This really helped me
understand the world of economics and viability which is the only way to sustain a business.
It is from this session and valuable insights from Desika mam that we pivoted our idea to
make it work.
• Lastly the session on idea validation by Amitabh Sinha sir was an absolute banger. I believe
that this is the foundation of the journey on which investors are really interested because the
predictions and projections start from here. He was a very experienced speaker and we really
got to learn a lot from him.

The domain specific sessions that we attended were all interesting which were taken by

Apart from these sessions we also had pitch deck , financial and budgeting, life sessions
which were all really important and taught us a lot in their own ways.

Special credits go to Desika ma’am and Obulaxmi ma’am who were there for all sessions and
helped it go smoothly, and kept it light hearted and fun . I think its now our time to move out
and let the next batch of H4P ppl get the same experience and delight as us . From the starting
inauguration event in ANNA UNIV till today it was a fun filled ride , thanking the foundation
for this.

Agri-tech gave a brief view about how our project works & Technical session 2 was insightful in validating our target customers and the validating goals and golden sales word and looking into lead & lag indicators were really helpful to understand our project Then session on Dhandha helped to analyze critical part of our business and how to outsource those. Also inputs Like PIVOT ( reset , modify;reposition;shift ; new plan; rethink), first principle thinking really pulled out the entrepreneurial side of our project journey. And sessions on BMC helped us in validating and understanding the viability and market research and demography of what strategies could take the product to the customers closer. Also we learnt about the life cycle of startup journey and problems faced by startup and how to set our USP. The session on drafting proposal also added value to our project. each session featured individuals who had actually achieved those milestones, providing
insights and explanations that couldn’t have been better conveyed.
• Our ideas might not have been perfect, but these sessions helped us understand how to
generate better ideas and, more importantly, how to validate and execute them effectively.
• Domain sessions were not as effective because, in my opinion, even during these sessions, the
guests focused on the business aspects, likely because they were business professionals. I
believe domain sessions should be conducted at the end of all other sessions, once students
have a proper understanding of the product, and the guests should be working professionals
from that specific field rather than business individuals.
